Asian Development bank to fund USD 2.5 million towards advanced biofuel development in India
Asian Development Bank (ADB) a multilateral lending agency on Monday said it has approved a $2.5 million (about Rs 18 crore) technical assistance to support advanced biofuel development in India. It is a part of Asia Clean Energy Fund, financed by the Government of Japan under the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility, and the Republic of Korea’s e-Asia and Knowledge Partnership Fund.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures reversed early gains and fell for a second straight session on Tuesday dragged by lower rival oils, but estimates of declining production in the coming months underpinned the market. The benchmark palm oil contract for February delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange settled down 0.77% to 3,366 ringgit ($827.03) a tonne.
