Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
13/07/2016 (APP) - Five ships C.V Casrto-N, C.V MSC Lucy, C.V Al-Manama, C.V ER Vancouver and M.T Atlantic Glory carrying Containers and Chemicals were arranged berthing at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Monday, 11th July-2016. In the meantime four more ships M.T Lion-M, M.T White Purl, M.T Globe Tanya and M.V Orhant with containers, furnace oil, LGP and clinker also got anchored at outer anchorage of Port Qasim.

Colombian Environmental Authority Forces Palm Oil Company to Suspend Operations
13/07/2016 (Finance Colombia) - A Colombian environmental authority has forced palm oil company Poligrow Colombia to suspend various operations due to alleged infractions that include wastewater dumping and letting compost runoff leach into the local forest. The department of Meta governmental organization CORMACARENA has claimed that the company has committed a litany of violations and demanded that they stop as a sanctioning process begins.

Canadian Canola Futures Rise
12/07/2016 (Reuters) - ICE Canadian canola futures rose on Friday, bouncing back from a four-day losing streak in tandem with a sharp rebound in US soybean futures, traders said. Some crusher buying added to the strength in canola futures. Gains were kept in check by good crop conditions and fund selling. November canola settled $7.70 higher at $470.00 per tonne.
