VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch July 12
12/07/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures eased on Monday, touching their lowest in nine months during the session as sentiment remained subdued ahead of data expected to show a drop in exports last month.
* U.S. corn futures fell on Monday, as investors braced themselves on the eve of a monthly U.S. Department of Agriculture report that analysts expected to project rising domestic corn stockpiles.
* Oil prices fell more than 1 percent on Monday, hitting two-month lows on extended selling after the market's break below a key technical support level last week due to oversupply fears.
MARKET NEWS
* The U.S. benchmark S&P 500 stock index set record intraday and closing highs on Monday as last week's strong monthly U.S. jobs report worked its way into financial markets, and European shares rose as a single candidate emerged to succeed David Cameron as British prime minister.
