13/07/2016 (Reuters) - Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Tuesday ahead of data released over the midday break that showed a drop in exports last month.

13/07/2016 (The Star) - Kenanga Research has maintained its forecasted crude palm oil (CPO) average price of RM2,400 per metric tonnes (mt) with a rebound in prices expected later this year due to the La Nina phenomenon.

13/07/2016 (The Star) - Higher crude palm oil (CPO) stockpiles in June due to weak demand has already been reflected in the recent price decline as the commodity slumped to a ten-month low, said Maybank IB Research.

13/07/2016 (APP) - Five ships C.V Casrto-N, C.V MSC Lucy, C.V Al-Manama, C.V ER Vancouver and M.T Atlantic Glory carrying Containers and Chemicals were arranged berthing at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Monday, 11th July-2016. In the meantime four more ships M.T Lion-M, M.T White Purl, M.T Globe Tanya and M.V Orhant with containers, furnace oil, LGP and clinker also got anchored at outer anchorage of Port Qasim.

13/07/2016 (Finance Colombia) - A Colombian environmental authority has forced palm oil company Poligrow Colombia to suspend various operations due to alleged infractions that include wastewater dumping and letting compost runoff leach into the local forest. The department of Meta governmental organization CORMACARENA has claimed that the company has committed a litany of violations and demanded that they stop as a sanctioning process begins.

12/07/2016 (Reuters) - ICE Canadian canola futures rose on Friday, bouncing back from a four-day losing streak in tandem with a sharp rebound in US soybean futures, traders said. Some crusher buying added to the strength in canola futures. Gains were kept in check by good crop conditions and fund selling. November canola settled $7.70 higher at $470.00 per tonne.
