IOI To Go It Alone On Biodiesel Plant
07/11/05 KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Plantation and property firm IOI Corp. Bhd. (1961.KU) will build its first biodiesel plant on its own, either in the Netherlands or in Pasir Gudang, in southern Johor state, to capitalize on the green fuel's growing global potential, the daily New Straits Times reports.

Long-term policy urged for oilseed sector

Oil World sees Malaysia's 2006 palm oil output up
9/11/05 (Reuters) - Malaysia's 2006 calendar-year palm oil output is forecast to rise to 15.6 million tonnes from a likely 15.14 million tonnes in 2005, Hamburg-based oilseeds analyst Oil World said in its first preliminary estimate of the country's production.
