Bintulu To See Over 5,000 Visitors For Two Trade Expos This Week

10/07/2012 (Bernama) - Bintulu will become the talk of the town again, creating history, as two Borneo's largest trade expos namely Palm Oil Technology Sarawak (PALMEX) and Sarawak Oil and Gas 2012 (SOGEX) will be held simultaneously on July 11, bringing in here an expected 5,000 trade visitors and 300 local and foreign exhibitors.

Crop Delay Concern Pushes Up Oils

10/07/2012 (Hindu Business Line) - Most edible oils extended last week’s gain on firm reports from abroad and from domestic producing centres. Concern that erratic monsoon may delay the kharif crops pushed up prices. Imported palmolein and soya oil rose by Rs 2 for 10 kg each while rapeseed and cottonseed refined oil increased by Rs 3 for 10 kg each. Sunflower refined oil was up by Rs 5 for 10 kg.
