Tanzania: Malima Pledges More Palm Oil Production
30/07/2012 (AllAfrica.com) - Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Food and Cooperatives, Mr Adam Malima, has said plans are afoot to increase production of palm and sunflower oil locally in a bid to reduce importation of edible oil.

30/07/2012 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 146,130 tonnes of cargo comprising 109,813 tonnes of import cargo and 36,317 tonnes of export cargo including 4,154 loaded & empty containers during last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Saturday. The total import cargo of 109,813 tonnes comprised of 36,520 tonnes of containerised cargo; 1,959 tonnes of general cargo; 26,530 tonnes of bulk cargo and 44,804 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
