15/10/2012 (Business Recorder) -The Karachi Port handled 154,739 tonnes of cargo comprising 120,200 tonnes of import cargo and 34,539 tonnes of export cargo including 5,735 loaded & empty containers during the last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Saturday. The total import cargo of 120,200 tonnes comprised 37,797 tonnes of containerised cargo; 8,878 tonnes of general cargo; 24,081 tonnes of bulk cargo and 49,444 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
