Activity at Karachi and Qasim Ports
09/06/2014 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 117,170 tonnes of cargo comprising 88,572 tonnes of import cargo and 28,598 tonnes of export cargo including 7,005 loaded and empty containers during the last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The total import cargo of 88,572 tonnes comprised of 60,415 tonnes of containerised cargo; 24,129 tonnes of general cargo and 4,028 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
