Palm oil prices fall amid expectations of weaker demand
26/03/2026 (Ukr Agro Consult) - Palm oil prices fell, driven by expectations of lower demand due to the conflict in the Middle East, according to a research note from Phillip Capital analysts. The June-delivery derivatives contract on Bursa Malaysia closed 41 ringgit lower at 4,496 ringgit per tonne. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s palm oil exports for March 1-25 are estimated to have risen 51% month-on-month to 1,389,549 metric tonnes, AmSpec Agri Malaysia, a cargo valuation firm, reported on Wednesday.
