KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures ended lower on Thursday after an industry body indicated a slower pace of production decline, but stronger exports in early November capped losses.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 11): Crude palm oil (CPO) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Thursday, tracking the weak performance of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soybean oil market, said palm oil trader David Ng.

Despite the recent surge in crude palm oil (CPO) prices, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KLK) group chief executive officer Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian said CPO prices are cyclical and depend on climate change.
