Edible oil processors in Bangladesh have proposed the government raise the price of soybean oil by Tk 20 per litre, according to processors and officials of the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission (BTTC).

Edible oil-oilseeds prices broke last week due to fall in foreign countries
New Delhi, Aug 7 (Language) Due to the fall in the prices of edible oils in the foreign markets last week, almost all including mustard, groundnut, soybean oil-oilseeds and cottonseed, crude palm oil (CPO), palmolein oil in the oil-oilseeds markets across the country. Edible oilseeds prices recorded a loss. Rest of the oil and oilseeds prices remained unchanged.
