PUTRAJAYA, June 26 (Bernama) -- Malaysia and Kazakhstan Monday signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income between two countries.

The present oversupply of glycerin is mostly due to surging biodiesel fuel programs in Western Europe, which generate glycerin as a byproduct. Another factor is the rapid growth of the plant-derived oleochemicals industry in Southeast Asia, which also churns out excess glycerin.

20/6/6 (Business Standard India) - Negotiations between India and Asean over the proposed Free Trade Agreement are deadlocked, with the latter now asking India to prune its list to just 60 items on which it will offer no tariff cuts. Asean has also rejected New Delhi's offer for a Tariff Rate Quota on palm oil, tea and pepper.
