7/1/06 JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia's government plans to develop 3 million hectares of palm oil plantations in the next five years to meet increasing demand for biofuel as an alternative source of energy, the agriculture minister said on Wednesday.

26/1/06 KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Chin Teck Plantations Bhd will replant 800 hectares of oil palm plantations in Malaysia this year, and plant an additional area of 4,000 hectares in Indonesia over the next three years to meet supply.
