Contract defaults hammer edible oil price
20/08/2008 (The Economic Times), New Delhi - The edible oil industry has come to a standstill after crude palm oil crashed on Tuesday to 50% of this year’s top price. The trade is in disarray as buyers in top importers like India, Pakistan and China are reneging on contracts while the market bottoms out.
