More Oil Palm cultivation in Mizoram
21/06/2011 (Morung Express) - The Mizoram agriculture department claimed that under Integrated Scheme of Oilseed Oilpalm and Maize (ISOPOM) more oil will be cultivated from palms in Mizoram in an area covering about 3000 hectares. ISOPOM has been introduced in Mizoram in the year 2004 and at present oil is cultivated from palms in four districts of Mizoram covering 7150 hectares.
