Activities At Karachi And Qasim Ports

18/12/2012 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 70,075 tonnes of cargo comprising 59,313 tonnes of import cargo and 10,762 tonnes of export cargo including 1,490 loaded & empty containers during the last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Monday. The total import cargo of 59,313 tonnes comprised 8,315 tonnes of containerised cargo; 754 tonnes of general cargo; 18,420 tonnes of coal and 31,824 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
