Indonesia testing efficiency of cars that run on cooking oil at high altitudes in drive towards greener vehicles

27/10/2022 (South China Morning Post) - Indonesia, the world’s largest palm oil producer, is testing to see if vehicles can run effectively on diesel blended with 40 per cent cooking oil, and if it works well at higher altitudes. A successful outcome would shift more local supply toward biofuel and curb exports.

Palm oil gains nearly 4% on weak ringgit, commodities rebound
