Activity At Karachi and Qasim Ports

16/04/2013 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 261,168 tonnes of cargo comprising 175,791 tonnes of import cargo and 85,377 tonnes of export cargo including 6,503 loaded and empty containers during the last 48 hours ended at 0700 hours on Monday. The total import cargo of 175,791 tonnes comprised 74,789 tonnes of containerised cargo; 5,721 tonnes of general cargo; 11,300 tonnes of coal and 83,981 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
