Palm Oil Prices Lower on European Market
20/12/2013 (Business Recorder) - Palm oil was offered lower on the European vegetable oils market on Wednesday because of spill-over weakness for CBOT soyaoil and a lower ringgit, which makes palm oil cheaper for dealers holding foreign currencies. "The bearish momentum continues and the European cash market eased as well. Buyers were still reluctant to do business, waiting for the market to reach a bottom," one broker said.

NCDEX Castor Seed Fut Volume Increases by 95% in 1 Month
19/12/2013 (MoneyControl.com) - NCDEX, the leading commodity exchange is seeing greater traction in its castor seed futures contract. Volume of Castor seed contract has seen over 95 percent increases in last one month. Apart from Castor seed contract, NCDEX crude oil contract has seen 1,14,400 barrels volume and recently launched Crude Palm Oil contract has also witnessed volume of 22724 MT during last fortnight.
