Barn owls for pest control

IN advocating sustainability, the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF) has joined up with the Barn Owl and Rodent Research Group (BORG), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), to use owls to control rats in plantations.
