05/05/2017 (Bernama) - On 29th April 2017, the Heads of State/Government of ASEAN Member States gathered for the 30th ASEAN Summit in Manila under the Chairmanship of Republic of Philippines. During the meeting, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak had expressed Malaysia's concern over the adoption of the Resolution on Palm Oil and Deforestation of Rainforest by the European Union by the European Parliament on 4th April 2017 which is detriment to the palm oil industries in the region.

05/05/2017 (Journal du Cameroun) - A Committee composed of representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Agriculture, Mines and Industries Ministry, the Chamber of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, representatives of producers and processors, traveled to production centres in the Littoral, West and South West regions in a bid to step up reorganization of the local palm oil trade.
