18/04/2014 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 133,476 tonnes of cargo comprising 93,543 tonnes of import cargo and 39,933 tonnes of export cargo during the last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The total import cargo of 93,543 tonnes comprised of 57,005 tonnes of containerised cargo; 21 tonnes of general cargo; 24,517 tonnes of bulk cargo: 19,025 tonnes of coal; 5,492 tonnes of soyabean meal and 12,000 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
