Karnataka collects 32.68 lakh litres of used oil; orders stricter checks on reuse, fortification

EU vegetable oil imports down 38%

Crude Palm Oil Production Rises To 3.80 LT In 2024-25: Centre
29/07/2025 (Business World) - Marking a healthy improvement, Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production has risen from 1.91 lakh tonne in 2014-15 to 3.80 lakh tonne in 2024-25, the Centre told Parliament. Till March 2025, 1.89 lakh hectare had been covered under the National Mission on Edible Oils - Oil Palm (NMEO-OP), taking the total coverage under oil palm in the country to 5.56 lakh hectare.
