Sunflower oil prices continue to rise speculatively
29/10/2025 (UkrAgroConsult) - The reduction in sunflowerseeds harvest forecasts in Ukraine and the restraint of sales by farmers are leading to a further increase in sunflower prices. At the same time, processors are taking advantage of the opportunity and selling sunflower oil at high prices against the backdrop of a surge in demand. However, it should be noted that world markets are starting to become saturated with supply, and palm oil quotes are falling sharply due to reduced demand, which will soon reduce speculative demand for expensive sunflower oil as well.

Indonesia’s Palm Oil Export Revenue Surges 43% to $24.8 Billion by August
28/10/2025 (Jakarta Globe Indonesia), Jakarta - Indonesia’s palm oil export revenue rose sharply by 43 percent year on year to $24.79 billion in the January-August 2025 period, according to data from the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (Gapki). Export volume also increased by 15 percent to 22.69 million tons, up from 19.68 million tons a year earlier.

Indonesia’s palm oil production set to rise 10% in 2025
28/10/2025 (Ukr Agro Consult) - Indonesia expects palm oil production to grow by 10% in 2025, reaching 56–57 million tonnes, exceeding previous forecasts. The increase is supported by favorable weather conditions and strong prices, which have encouraged farmers to manage their plantations more carefully, according to the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI).
