31/03/2014 (Bernama) - Former Finance Minister Tan Sri Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah forecasts palm oil prices to rebound in July when the ringgit stabilises.

Port Qasim's Activities

31/03/2014 (Business Recorder) - A cargo volume of 61,218 tonnes comprising 47,348 tonnes of import cargo and 13,870 tonnes of export cargo inclusive 3,636 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) was handled at Port Qasim during the last 24 hours on Saturday. The total import cargo of 47,348 tonnes includes 8,000 tonnes of palm oil; 1,128 tonnes of VCM; 10,142 tonnes of steel coil and 28,087 tonnes of containerised cargo.

DiNapoli today announced that Safeway Inc., the second largest grocery chain in the U.S., has agreed to give preference to suppliers of 100percent verified sustainable palm oil and set a goal of using only sustainable palm oil in all of its Safeway-brand products.
