23/01/2012 (Pakistan Obsever) - Parliamentary Secretary Pir Haider Ali Shah on Thursday informed National Assembly that provincial governments should take notice of increase in prices of palm oil in their respective provinces. Replying to a Calling Attention Notice raised by Malik Shakir Bashir Awan and others regarding increase in prices of palm oil by Rs.7 per kg, he said that provincial governments have been asked to take stern action to control prices of palm oil. Increase in prices of palm oil was unjustified as the manufactures have not increased rates.
