14/11/2011 (Pakistan Observer) - Four ships arrived at Port on Friday 11th November, 2011, carrying Containers at QICT, Project Cargo at MW-2, Paraxylene at EVTL. Berth occupancy was maintained at 71% at the Port on Friday where a total of ten ships namely MV AL Mirqab, MV MSC Anafi, M.V STX Bright, M.V Alexi-1, M.T Asphalt Merchant.MT Bunga Laurel, M.T Olympic Serenity, M.T DL- Violet, M.V Kiran Africa, M.V Safina-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, cement, containers bitumen, palm oil. furnace oil, paraxylene, sun flower seed was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo Handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 92286 tonnes, comprising 76207 tonnes import and 16079 tonnes export, 3157 (tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
