01/11/2011 (Dow Jones) - Diversified holding company PT Astra International (ASII.JK) Monday that reported that its net profit rose to IDR13.44 trillion ($1.52 billion) in the first nine months of the year from IDR10.36 trillion a year earlier.

Revenue rose to IDR119.53 trillion in the Januuary-September period from IDR94.36 trillion.

Astra, which is 50.09% owned by Singapore's Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd. (C07.SG), has interests in a wide array of sectors including automotive, palm oil, financial services, infrastructure and mining.
