20/09/2011 (Economic Times) -  Indian state-run trading firm PEC Ltd has cancelled a tender to buy 15,000 tonnes of RBD palmolein from Malaysia or Indonesia, trade sources said on Monday, without giving any reason for the cancellation.

The state-run firm, which regularly buys vegetable oils on behalf of provincial governments for public distribution, had sought delivery by October at the southern ports of Chennai and Tuticorin.
