FBM KLCI Ends Lower In Morning Trade

22/07/2011 (The Star) - The FBM KLCI ended the morning trade lower by 2.65 points, or 0.17% at 1,563.16 on Friday.

Turnover was 652.05 million shares done valued at RM894.67 million. There were 321 gainers, 244 losers and 304 stocks unchanged.

Meanwhile, regional peers were up with Shanghai SE Composite having gained 0.45% to 2,778.40, Kopsi up 0.88% to 2,163.98 and Singapore's STI increasing 0.98% to 3,169.18

The ringgit against the US dollar was quoted at 2.9826 against yesterday's close at 2.9963

Crude oil was up at US$99.45, from yesterday's close of US$99.13. Palm oil futures on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was up RM8 at RM3138 per tonne.
