Sidhu Bros gets licence from MPOB
22/04/2011 (Business Times) - Sidhu Brothers Group, a crude palm oil (CPO) transporter, has been awarded the MPOB licence to transport palm oil in Malaysia.
There is a new ruling by Malaysia Palm Oil Board (MPOB) that effective March this year, all palm oil transporters in Malaysia must carry the licence to curb theft.
Sidhu Brothers is among five companies, including Felda Transport, to get the licence from Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Tan Sri Bernard Dompok.
Sidhu Brothers operates a fleet of over 120 palm oil and cement bulk tankers transporting CPO for Sime Darby Plantations, Bell Group, United Plantations, Platinum Energy, Felda Iffco, Raub Oil Mill, Prosper Group and Holcim Malaysia.
