05/04/2011 (Business Times) - Sime Darby Bhd, the world’s biggest publicly traded palm oil producer, expects output of fresh fruit bunches to be “slightly higher” this year, according to a company official.

Output may be about 2 per cent more than the 9.8 million tons it produced last year, Franki Anthony Dass, executive vice president of Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd, told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.
