Indonesia to cut crude palm oil export tax in August
22/07/2010 (Public Ledger) - INDONESIA will set its crude palm oil (CPO) export tax at 3% in August, a cut from July's 4.5% because of lower European palm oil prices, three industry sources said today.
An industry ministry source said Rotterdam palm oil prices had averaged below $800 a tonne in June/July, within a range that would mean a lower tax rate.
