16/07/2009 (Food Biz Daily) - Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Department of Revenue, Government of India, has issued Notification (No.91/2009-Customs) regarding tariff values of edible oils. 
 
According to the notification, the tariff values of Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Other Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Other Palmolein, and Crude Soybean Oil have been fixed at US$ 447, US$ 476, US$ 462, US$481, US$ 484, US$483, US$ 580 per ton respectively.
 
It is also learnt that there is no change in the tariff values of these edible oils.
