03/10/2026 (The Machine Maker) - Godrej Industries Group hosted a high-level Malaysian delegation led by YB Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Malaysia, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in oil palm research, innovation, trade and the household insecticides sector. The delegation included representatives from Malaysia’s Ministry of Plantation and Commodities, the Consul General of Malaysia in Chennai, the Malaysian Palm Oil Council, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board and Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil.

During the meeting with Godrej Agrovet, discussions focused on opportunities in the oil palm upstream sector. The two sides exchanged views on using research, technology and scientific tools to develop high-performing oil palm varieties suited to India’s different agro-climatic conditions.
