Data from the Southern Peninsular Palm Oil Millers' Association (SPPOMA) indicates that for the period of August 1–5, 2026, Malaysia's palm oil yield per hectare fell by 9.3% compared to the same period the previous month. Meanwhile, the oil extraction rate rose by 0.18%, and total production declined by 8.35%.
