Austral Builds Eco-Friendly CPO Mill

BINTULU, July 17 (Bernama) -- Austral Enterprises Berhad has built aRM24.8 million crude palm oil (CPO) mill at its Derawan Estate here sets anew benchmark for the industry in the environment-friendly construction ofsuch facilities.The chairman of the giant oil palm plantation company, Datuk Mohd ZukiKamaluddin said the oil mill, Austral's third in the state and fifth inthe country "boasts the latest in oxidation facilities (that are) uniqueto it".

He was speaking at the commissioning of the new mill by the Sarawak ChiefMinister, Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, in Similajau about 52 kilometers fromhere on Tuesday. -- BERNAMA
