Indonesian export taxes to remain the same for crude palm oil, cocoa January shipment

MENAFN (29/12/2018) - (MENAFN) Indonesian trade ministry declared that it has decided to keep export taxes for crude palm oil and cocoa bean unchanged for the shipment next month.

According to the Director General for Foreign Trade of Trade Ministry, export taxes for crude palm oil were maintained at 0 percent and those for cocoa bean at 5 percent for shipment next month.

He also said that the reference prices for crude palm oil and cocoa bean for January are still below the threshold, not strong enough to change the export taxes.

For shipment next month, the reference prices for crude palm oil are down 8.39 percent to USD503.3 per metric ton, below the threshold of USD750 per metric tons.
