17.07.2018 (Outlook India) -  New Delhi, Jul 17 Crude palm oil prices fell 0.36 per cent to Rs 610.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators cut bets, taking negative cues from spot market on easing demand amid expectations of higher production.

Moreover, adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from overseas market weighed on the prices.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in the current month declined by Rs 2.20, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 610.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 165 lots.

On similar lines, the oil for delivery in August was trading down by Rs 1.70, or 0.28 per cent, at Rs 602.90 per 10 kg in 234 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by traders owing to a slackened demand against sufficient stocks position kept crude palm oil prices lower.
