India raised import duty on palm oil once again
12.03.2018 (UkrAgroConsult) - India’s government has decided to raise the import duty on crude and refined palm oil to a ten-year high in order to support domestic producers, informs UkrAgroConsult.
It is specified that the import duty was increased from 30% to 44% for crude palm oil and from 40% to 54% for refined one.
India raised the duty already for the fourth time in six months. This step is purposed to support domestic vegoil prices.
