Malaysian palm oil/Vegoils: Market factors to watch Wednesday Nov 1
The Star Online (01/11/2017) - KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Wednesday Nov 1.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Tuesday after four straight sessions of gains on weakness in related edible oils, while shipment data from cargo surveyors did little to support the market.
* U.S. wheat futures fell to contract lows on Tuesday as technical selling pressure dragged prices lower for a fifth straight session.
* Oil prices settled higher again on Tuesday, notching a monthly gain of more than 5 percent, but analysts said bullish sentiment that has driven Brent crude to its highest in more than two years could encourage U.S. producers to export more oil.
MARKET NEWS
* World stocks advanced on Tuesday and set a record twelfth straight month of gains as Europe outpaced the advance on Wall Street, while the dollar was flat but saw its best month since February.
