National Chamber Seminar on 'Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Indonesia' on September 26

20/09/2017 (Colombo Page) - The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will hold a session on 'Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Indonesia' next week.

The seminar will be held on Tuesday 26 September 2017 from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium on D R Wijewardene Mawatha in Colombo.

The Indonesian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Gusti Ingusa Ardiyasa will be the special guest speaker. He will be assisted by the Head of Chancery Pinardi Prianbodo and Third Secretary Wiryawan Prah Utomo.

The Current business trend, trade potential, opportunities for export, import, investment and other services available for Sri Lankans in Indonesia will be discussed at the session.

The participants will get an opportunity to interact with the Ambassador and the other officials to clarify issues in doing business with Indonesia.

Sri Lanka's imports from Indonesia include machinery equipment, chemical products, palm oil, and cement. Sri Lanka exports to Indonesia are tea, wheat flour, cement, apparel and textiles, and tobacco products.

Potential export commodities include electrical appliances, plywood, textiles, rubber, oil and gas.
