Improved Global Cues Lift Soya

18/08/2017 (Hindu Business Line) - Improved global cues and buying support lifted soy oil prices in Indore mandis with soy refined today being quoted at ₹640 for 10 kg, while soy solvent rose to ₹610-14 (₹597-600 last week). Palm and cotton oil traded higher with palm oil quoted at ₹600, while cotton oil ruled at ₹625. Groundnut oil ruled flat at ₹800 amid subdued demand.

Mustard seeds today rising to ₹4,300 (up ₹100 from last week), while raida ruled at₹3,500 a quintal. In future mustard seeds traded higher with its August and September contracts on the NCEDX today closing at ₹3,680 and 3,784 a quintal respectively. Plant deliveries of mustard seeds for Jaipur line today declined to ₹3,860 a quintal. Arrival of mustard seeds across the country today recorded at 1.25 lakh bags (1.35 lakh bags last week). Rajasthan lead the arrival with 55,000 bags, followed by UP - 23,000 bags, Punjab/Haryana with 20,000 bags, Madhya Pradesh - 8,000 bags, Gujarat - 5,000 bags, while 14,000 bags were offloaded elsewhere in the country.
