FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures jumped to a one-week high on Wednesday, supported by strong gains in Chicago Board of Trade soyoil, though market sentiment remained cautious ahead of an industry conference in Kuala Lumpur next week. POI/

* U.S. wheat futures climbed about 3 percent on Wednesday on a mix of technical buying and enthusiasm over a larger-than-expected wheat purchase by top global importer Egypt a day earlier, traders said. GRA/

* Oil prices ended slightly lower on Wednesday as record high U.S. crude supplies tempered expectations that the market will rebalance as evidence emerges that OPEC producers are complying with an agreement to cut production. O/R

* U.S. Treasury yields rose along with the U.S. dollar and Wall Street rallied, lifting the Dow above 21,000, as investors increased bets on an imminent interest rate hike and gave a sigh of relief after President Donald Trump's speech to Congress. MKTS/GLOB
