07/12/2016 (APP) - Six ships C.V MSC Elina, C.V Al-Mnanama, M.V Thorco Legion, M.T Geimini Gas and M.T Rise Fortune carrying containers, project cargo, lpg and furnace oil were arranged berthing at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Monday.

Meanwhile four more ships Maersk, Hatford, MSC Albany, Maritime Dinar and Genuine with containers, palm oil and phosphoric acid also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was reported at the at 53% on Monday where a total of eight ships namely MSC Elina, Al-Mnanama, Esthi, Thorco Legion, Chintana Naree, Geimini Gas, Rise Fortune and Black Pearl are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, project cargo, siag, furnace oil and lpg respectively during last 24 hours.

Three ships, MSC Eline, Esthi and Thorco Legion sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning, while two more ships Al-Mnanama and Geimini Gas are expected to sail on same day afternoon.

Five Ships, MSC Albany, Maersk Hartford, Maritime Dinar, Eco Glaxy and Atlantic Glory carrying containers, palm oil lpg and chemicals are expected to take berths at QICT, LCT, EVTL and MW-1 respectively on Tuesday, while lpg carrier 'Senna Princess' is due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day and General cargo carrier 'Imari' is due to arrive on Wednesday.
