VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Nov 15
15/11/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell over 4 percent on Monday to post their biggest intraday drop in over four months, retreating from a four-year high in the previous session as they tracked weaker-performing rival oils on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange.
* U.S. wheat futures fell about 2 percent on Monday, joining a broad decline in commodities as the dollar roared to an 11-month high, analysts said.
* Oil prices were largely steady on Monday, rebounding from three-month lows, on a report saying that OPEC members were seeking to resolve their differences on a deal to cut production ahead of a meeting later this month.
MARKET NEWS
* The U.S. dollar hit an 11-month peak against a basket of currencies on Monday as the risk of faster U.S. inflation and wider budget deficits sent Treasury bond yields shooting higher.
