VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Oct 25
25/10/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures climbed to their strongest levels in two and a half years on Monday eveningon declining output data, and tracking gains in rival oils on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
* U.S. soybean futures climbed to a two-month high on Monday on brisk U.S. exports and rising prices for vegetable oils.
* Oil prices dipped on Monday, with U.S. crude briefly falling below $50 per barrel, on news of the impending restart of Britain's Buzzard oilfield and Iraq's wish to be exempted from OPEC production cuts.
MARKET NEWS
* Asian shares edged higher on Tuesday while the dollar stood firm as upbeat U.S. earnings boosted Wall Street and factory surveys in the United States and Europe boasted their best readings so far this year.
