VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Sept 5
05/09/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures rose by the most in more than two weeks on Friday, lifted by a weaker ringgit and tracking better-performing rival oils on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange.
* Chicago corn and wheat futures prices rose for a second straight session on Friday with short-covering ahead of the U.S. Labor Day holiday weekend, clawing back from multi-year lows reached this week.
* Crude prices inched down on Monday in Asia, paring 3 percent gains in the previous session amid worries over a global oil glut.
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. shares inched higher and European shares rallied on Friday after weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs data gave the Federal Reserve more leeway to stand pat on interest rates, while the dollar gained and longer-dated Treasury yields edged up.
