20/07/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures closed higher on Tuesday, recovering from earlier declines as the ringgit's weakness helped prices.

* U.S. corn and soybean futures slid more than 3 percent on Tuesday, pressured by historically high crop ratings and forecasts for moderating temperatures next week, analysts said.

* Oil futures rose in early Asian trading on Wednesday after an industry group released weekly figures showing U.S. stockpiles fell more than expected last week.

MARKET NEWS

* Asian stocks stepped back early on Wednesday after a record run on Wall Street showed signs of petering out, while the dollar hovered near a four-month high against a basket of currencies.
